MOULIN ROUGE – ( from Fr: Red Windmill ) – is the most world famous cabaret in Paris. Created at the same time as Eiffel Tower in 1889 in the Montmartre district. The original house, which burned down in 1915, was co-founded in 1889 by Charles Zidler and Joseph Oller, who also owned the Paris Olympia. Close to Montmartre in the Paris district of Pigalle on Boulevard de Clichy in the 18th arrondissement, it is marked by the red windmill on its roof. Two times a day and 365 days a year gorgeous dancers dressed in fancy skirts are giving the show. It’s the breathtaking performance, especially for the men part and is still very popular. Team of 80 dancers is taking part in the show. The birthplace of Can-can dance.
