UEFA Euro 2016 will take place in France. This event will be the XV edition of the championship but first when the best European teams who won in the qualifiers will be in the competition. Proposal of 24 teams in EURO was accepted by 53 federations. Host of the championship was typed by UEFA Committee(28.05.2010).

France was hosting big events in the past like European Championship in 1960 and 1984 and World Cup in 1938 and 1998.

All qualified teams are waiting for the group draw. Teams will be divided into 6 groups. Ceremony will be at 12.12.2015.

Teams that qualified to EURO 2016 are: Poland, Slovakia, Russia, Germany Albania, Romania, Italy, Belgium, Wales, Iceland, Czech Republic, England, Austria, Portugal, Northern Ireland , Spain, Switzerland, Croatia, Turkey.

Eight teams have to fight for the promotion to Euro 2016 in the playoff round (12.11-17.11. 2015). Team winning in HOME/AWAY games will get promotion to EURO finals. Teams which have to play in play-off are: Sweden, Ukraine, Ireland, Slovenia, Nowary, Denmark, Hungary and Bosnia and Herzegovina..

Winner of the EURO 2016 will get possibility to participate in Confederations Cup hosted by Russia in 2017.

Teams will be playing for 31 days. Start of the competition: 10.06.2016 at Stade de France 21:00. Final game will be also on Stade de France – the biggest stadium in France.
